In long: I knew I wanted effortless candids and Pinterest-worthy photos, but most photographers I found were charging over twice what I could afford. I feel really lucky that Emily worked with me and my budget; she's so talented! And totally sweet, I really liked the times I got to chat with her, and my family said the same. She's very responsive and great at communicating over e-mail.
When I went to another wedding with a really intrusive photographer, it really brought home for me how discreet Emily and her assistant were. They caught all these amazing shots without being in the middle of things or bothersome. They also coordinated really well with the videographer, no one getting in each other's way. Total professionals.
I have nothing but good things to say about Emily, and I'd recommend her to anyone. The photos aren't just beautiful--when I look at them, it's like I can feel everyone's emotions from that day.

Pick this photographer! I rarely like seeing myself in photographs and I truly believed that nothing would be able to capture the beauty of the site that we had selected for our wedding day. Emily's photographs WOWed me! I looked the best I've ever looked AND I think the site looks even more incredible in the photos than in person!! How is that possible? I have no idea, but she is magical.
Not only are her photos incredibly artistic and gorgeous, but her presence is kind, professional, unintrusive, and classy. Additionally, she dealt with a VERY difficult circumstance with a belligerent and distant relative in the most professional and classy way possible. We truly found her to be a gem in every way. Upon seeing the photos that she created, I would easily have paid double for her work. I'm lucky that I snapped her up before her prices catch up with her quality!
